Most flowering plants need the services of natural pollinators such as honeybees for fertilization to occur. Honey bees are one of the most manageable, effective and efficient pollinator options available, therefore many farmers seek colonies to pollinate their crops to increase yields. Commonly pollinated crops include Cherries, Apples, Pears, Apricots, Strawberries, and various other fruits and vegetables.
We are a registered apiary (#868) and strive to comply with the Tasmanian Crop Pollination Association Code of Practice.
We offer Commercial Honeybee Crop Pollination in Tasmania’s Northern Midlands with competitive rates.

Balmoral Cottage Farm honey is 100% natural, cold filtered and unprocessed straight from the beehive. Our honey has been kept in its raw form to preserve the beneficial enzymes and maximise taste. In order to preserve the flavour and health benefits of our honey, extracting and packing temperature is maintained below 30°C. This method of extracting and processing results in honey that is candied, a guarantee that the product has not been over heated or diluted with syrup.
